The Singles Bucket List: 100 Things To Do When You’re Single. ENTER THE SITE Being single isn’t a tragedy, it’s an opportunity. It’s a chance to recreate yourself, to put yourself first, to prioritise your goals, to do all the things you really want to do! To get you excited about this, I want to challenge you to create your very own singles bucket list. What to include? Well I don’t want you to be short of ideas, so I’ve created a whole load for you! Here’s 100 things to do when you’re single, to get that inspiration flowing… How To Create Your Singles Bucket List. To create your singles bucket list, you want to have a good strong mix of different things, that look at different areas of your life and benefit you in different ways. See, there’s 7 different areas for self improvement. And ideally you want a mix of things that will… 1) Help You Grow. Ultimately in yourself, as a person. The more you push yourself, the more you grow. So we want a rounded mission of personal development and self improvement as part of our singles bucket list. 2) Get To Know Yourself Better. You also want to include things that will help you get to know yourself better – discover who you really are and who you want to be. 3) Get You Experiencing. Think about different dating experiences, travel experiences, life experiences. Think about the things that are FUN, exciting, will help you create those precious memories and fully make the most of your freedom! 4) Help You Learn. Every single thing we do, will get us learning more… about ourselves, about our lives, about our wants, our needs. Identify where you have a lack of clarity, or look at how you can challenge what you thought before, to really expand your mind. With an attitude of learning, you can also take a positive from almost any experience (even the negative) so you should use this time to shift your outlook too. 5) Pushes You Out Your Comfort Zone. The more you do, the more you learn and the more you grow. So don’t be afraid to add the things that SCARE you, onto your singles bucket list. Even if you don’t currently feel like you could do them (or want to do them), as time goes on, you’ll see that soon changes! Your Singles Bucket List. Your singles bucket list should also combine things: 1) On Your Own. This will really build you up as a person and get you pushing out of your comfort zone, growing your independence and showing you what you’re really capable of. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – we all need time by ourselves, to live just for ourselves. So embrace it. Push through when you start to feel lonely and uncomfortable, because once you come out the other side, you’ll realise just how strong and powerful you really are as an individual. 2) With Others. On the flip-side, just because you’re single, doesn’t mean you have to do everything by yourself. You can still experience things with other people, and you’ll realise that it’s actually just as good! Whether it’s with friends, family, someone you’re dating even… you don’t have to have a serious romantic partner to make special memories with other people. So we want to include a mix of experiences with others on our singles bucket list to help you to see that. The most important part however? Is that you create a Singles Bucket List that excites you! Include things you’ve always wanted to do, things you’ve never thought of doing before, anything and everything – quite simply – because you can . This is a fundamental element for how to become happily single , because it’s pushing you to make the most of your single-life status and all the freedom that comes with it! 100 Things To Do When You’re Single. So let’s get stuck into it. Here’s 100 things to do when you’re single. Remember, this is just the starting point. When creating your singles bucket list, add on things that both scare and excite you – but make them personal to you . Really look at the areas you want to develop in and the things that you’re passionate about. Then once you’re happy with your list – pin it up on the wall to keep it on your radar and continuously working through it!
